At Murphy's Law in Hillegom tonight I went to see a local band called shinbone with Poekie. The venue was small but quite nice.

Home-made sausage

Last year I started a new hobby; sausage making.
At first I used a cheap hand-driven grinder and filler. But I soon got tired of working for 4 hours for just under a kilogram of sausage.The grinding and filling alone took me 3 hours. Since a while I had a new electric machine. It does the same job and better in about 20 minutes time.
Yesterday I tested it with a recipe based on Chorrizo. The result can be seen above and will be left to cure in my kitchen for about 3 weeks before I can finally taste it.
