These vine tomatoes are nice to just pop into mouth, but one time I tried to use them for 番茄炒蛋 the skin was too thick. So last time I peeled them by first boiling them first for like 30 seconds. I imagine that is what you did too if you also thought the skin was thick.

Actually when I buy them in St. Lawrence Market, they come in a string of 10 or 20 on the vine, in a nice rectangular plastic jewel case.. so pretty.

I love the "lens vignetting" look.. lately that is all the rage when I process my photos too. Which software did you use to do it? Or.. did you do something special with the camera / lighting and got that right from the get-go? :D Anyways it's very cool and looks very different from the high-key look of your other pictures :D

I was playing with photoshop last night and it was so much fun!

@Vincent - I keep to use this kind of tomato for cooking(煲湯/煮餸) without peel off the skin as they healthy(flavonol).
talk about 番茄炒蛋 - I prefer to cook half portion of tomatoes first and cook them into paste (without adding water). I tried many varieties but my best option is still strawberry tomato or campari tomato.
I didn't do anything with my camera, just playing with photoshop! 貪得意玩下！^_^

If you use nikon you should get a copy of "Capture NX" from Nikon (well assuming you shot RAW as opposed to JPEG).

I use it do do most of my processing now (for my realism / studies pictures) and reserve photoshop/GIMP for fun/extra post-processing stuff.

These are so tasty I can't help but eat them straight and can't bear to cook them :D But, one thing I will try with these is to make dried tomatoes with them.. can't sun-dry them there's too much pollution but I will try oven-drying them :D

I heard that 勝香園 cook their 茄牛通 with "no skin tomatos". right now I'm thinking to buy which part/kind of beef? hope I can make it next week!
