Beautiful shot with those clouds blowing off
the mountain and the trees in the foreground
making a nice composition. The cables bother
me personally thinking it would be a perfect
photo without them.

You know, just to be difficult and because I
like this photo so much, I've been looking at
it and the cables just don't bother me
anymore. hobbes8calvin is right, without the
cables we wouldn't be here. This is what you
see from a chair lift. Without the cables it
might make a nice postcard but with the
cables it's a skier's viewpoint of all that
great snow on a beautiful day with a view of
the mountain to boot. I am going to retract
my comments about the cables and accept the
honesty of the photograph just as it is.
(Obviously this comment doesn't make sense
any more.)

That is a beautiful, clear shot. I visited
there earlier this year and didn't get a day
nearly as clear as you did. Very pretty
scene.

Thank you for your effort in removing the
cables. You did a perfect job I must say. I
know the tedious job from removing power
cables in some of my shots. Anyway, it is a
stunning photograph with or without the
cables. For a while there before you removed
them I could identify with the skier on the
lift 50ft off the snow with the wind in his
face. Probably most people will feel more
comfortable with them gone but you could keep
a copy of the original for fellow
skiers/boarders.

This is just incredible. I love how it looks
like the snow is getting blown off the
mountain. I feel so lucky to have a view of
this gorgeous mountain right out my bedroom
window.
