not the same

John McCain seems to be a little in the dark when it comes to planetaria. A couple weeks back he referred to them as "foolishness." During tonight's debate, he referred to them as having "overhead projectors" on two separate occasions.

Calling a planetarium projector an "overhead projector" is like saying the mayor of Washington DC is the same as the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.

Yeeeeah well how else are government funded programs and institutions supposed to get money? I'd rather it went to a "projector" than an oil company.

The most hilarious part of McCain's foolish rant about Chicago's planetarium is that it was an earmark for educational expenses... thus making a case against himself because the earmarks that McCain has approved for the University of Arizona went into some kind of black hole and they still can't figure out where the money went.

Have you been to the planetarium in Chicago?
It's totally world-class... I love it!

And guess what - the "projector" still costs less than one of McCain's seven homes...

Obama - some money toward education, science and industry
McCain - Gov. Bailouts on Wall Street with no oversight.

The choice is clear.

I've been there many times. It's nice, but it is starting to show its age.
