These are just refillable water bottles, refilled from filtered tap water within the office.

A lot of offices have them. Cheaper than buying in branded spring water
(and more environmentally friendly, too.)

Just cos its sparkling it doesn't mean its not refillable - for example, Yo Sushi have filtered sparkling water on tap. Notice too the bottle top - if it was branded and shipped in, it'd be a screwtop.

And even if it WAS bought in, I'm sure they'd save a packet over the alternative of buying in Perrier, Ty Nant or whatever.

So yes, it is tax payers money going to good use, I agree ;)

Incidentally, when the CEO of BT goes to meetings, would you suggest he bring his own water?

Vivreau (their website is currently a bit MIA) do both sparkling and still water bottling systems for offices. It's just a matter of carbonating - you all remember SodaStream, right? ;-)
