When visiting Hong Kong, you just have to see the giant sitting Buddha on the top of a mountain. So we did, and it was worth the trip - for various reasons (great fun for kids, good time killer, interesting environment, giant Buddha statue, ...).
On our way back with the cable car, we saw this beautiful sunset - just when you think you will never take another sunset picture, you will be taught better ;-))

Ever since starting Yoga, life seems to be so much more RELAXED, YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!! Who says you need to take illicit routes to feel good ;-)

The background to this picture: waiting for the fireworks in Disneyland (for one hour - sitting on asphalt...) you need to find ways to kill time...one can do Yoga, or take pictures of others doing it.

One thing up-front: we're not on hallucinogens of any kind ;-)...

When living in Asia, it's hard not to take pictures of statues - but such shots look pretty "touristic" pretty fast - so what to do?
Well, we took the challenge and "photo-montaged" this shot of an actual Buddha statue by changing the rather boring looking original background.

This is new terrain for us, as we usually prefer to leave our pictures as they are with only a little bit of soft post-processing.

The desert is a beautiful place but without the right people it's just ... empty!!!
We've spent a wonderful day in the desert, enjoying a beautiful sunset and feeling absolutely alone in the world.
That came right after we had a wild dune-busting drive in a 4x4 Chevy, though ;-)

Eid Mubarak!!

It's been close to a month since we posted any pictures as we were engaged in other activities during this holy month, which unfortunately is almost over.

We acknowledge it's a bit early for this picture, but during Eid life becomes very hectic and we may miss the opportunity. With only a few days to go, we hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Ramadan - we certainly did :-)

We will return to posting weekly pictures starting mid September - lots of interesting shots are waiting to be showcased...
