    friend of mine (combathamster, JC) asked me if I wanted anything for christmas and I asked for a moleskine. It was a large one, though. i like big stuff...
    I think it was £11 or something, quite reasonable. :D

    Everything goes in them, daily entires, drawings, doodles, photos, gig/cinema tickets... whatever.
