Mo Gridder's Pulled Pork Sandwich

An interesting story behind Mo Gridders. It's located in the yard of an auto repair shop. Ed was having lunch in New Haven, Conn., sitting next to a man who gave him a Mo Gridders business card. Ed tells Peter Meehan (NY Times) about it, Peter goes out there, writes it up in "$25 and Under." The place gets some press, gets on the Food Network eventually. Several months later, Claire's friend Joe tells her he saw this thing on the Food Network about a barbecue joint in an auto-repair yard. And Claire's like, "ED IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT!" Anyway, Meehan brought this sandwich into our office after one of his initial visits there. [January 12]
