This afternoon we met with some other families and went to Firkin Point for a walk by Loch Lomond. Or rather the grown ups got to walk/run trying to keep up with the kids all on their bikes. It felt great to all get out together in the fresh air, the kids all had a blast spending time together outside of school and I'm sure the exercise done us all good too. The group are hoping to make it a regular outing once a month and I'm looking forward to future outings :)

Today h took the girls to sunday school (Lily is being a bit clingy and won't go on her own at the moment) which meant I got the chance to stay for the whole service. Today is homeless sunday so the sermon focussed on that and the barriers between rich and poor, I'm not the best at explaining things but found it thought provoking and it certainly made me very grateful for what I have.

Yesterday we took the girls to messy church and I attempted to get some photos of the huge stained glass window while they were playing, unfortunately I wasn't very happy with the results so had another go today with this smaller window. Loving the colours and the detail and will definitely have another go at the big one soon.

A bit late with this but figured it was still worth doing :)

So after a gorgeous sunrise this morning which I wasn't able to get out and photograph I had hoped it would be a nice day. Sadly it seems not and this is the view I have instead :( I wish spring would hurry up and arrive!

Bloody hell this light drawing stuff is harder than it looks! I've been seeing uploads all day from two lovely ladies so thought I'd have a go myself tonight. I was trying for the word copy cat but seems I'm not that good at writing with a torch lol plus I can;t figure out how to flip the image in lightroom (?) really must take some time to figure out how to use it rather than guessing all the time! So, anyway here is a rather amateur heart from me in my loveheart pjs lol A wee unofficial tribute to zoej1983 and *EmmaS* :)
