out of the big city...

Had to get a panorama of the Dalian downtown skyline with my Horizon 202 before I left the city, my adpoted home for the last four and a half years. Despite the construction boom, the downtown skyline hasn't actually hanged too much during the years I lived here. The main change has been the urbanisation of outlying areas, so there are now several other small skylines dotted through the city, including the city's two highest buildings, the 260 m tall Futures Plaza 1&2, away 10 km to the west of where this photo was taken. First of the subway lines is now under construction apparently.
