Knysna Heads fire (December 21 2009 Day 1)

A huge fire broke out on the western head of Knysna today. The image was taken from the eastern part of the lagoon at dusk. The sun has a strange orange glow through the thick grey smoke. This image is processed for HDR by Photomatix. We hope no homes are lost yet.
