Lake ranch
A landscape in transition here. It appears that the Douglas fir is advancing into the coast scrub plant community - perhaps suggesting a long absence of fires and less grazing pressure. Also the lake is gradually becoming more confined by aquatic vegetation and will eventually become a marsh or meadow.
