One of the most impressive regular occurrences we take for granted here in Ft. Lauderdale has to be the coming and going of cruise traffic. 12.8 million people took cruises out of one of the seven seaports in Florida between October 2009 and September 2010. This kind of passenger volume leeds to some deep and far reaching effects. Here the Allure of the Seas heads out from Port Everglades with over 5000 passengers for a weekly Caribbean Cruise, I don't think the jogger even noticed...
