lotus (tange OK!) fork

lotus (tange OK!) fork by skvidal.
When I pulled the fork it had 'TANGE OK' stamped on it in big lettering. The fork was in great condition and appears to be chromed all the way up, not just the bottom half. Not sure why it would be fully chromed then painted but .

I taped off the chrome part below then
3 layers of primer, sanding lightly then 2 layers of semi-gloss black enamel.
I'll give it a couple of days to dry and then add a layer of clearcoat to protect it a bit.

It looks very shiny, now.

Dave Moulton just explained a few days ago why entire parts are chromed (instead of just the visible portion).

I think the crystal clearcoat should make it look even shinier :)
