out of necessity and inspired by "celebrate the boy" month, i whipped up 4 bibs for my 2 month old son. these were all made from my scrap pile and backed by an ikea towel. these were so fun to make, and i was glad to use up some scraps! they work well for baby spit up because they cover his whole front, and actually fit my 2.5 year old daughter, too (she doesn't have as many chins as her brother - i think his neck is currently bigger around than hers is!).
pattern: traced around a store-bought infant bib, all appliques drawn
fabrics: paula prass chevron, ikea leaves, wendy slotbloom feathered friends, ikea stripes, kona solids, light gray corduroy, eyes drawn on with fabric marker
UPDATE: i didn't blog when i made these, but i blog now - skirtastop.com
