Kolkata and Darjeeling, '04

This was probably my first foray into semi serious photography. Obviously I'm not very happy with them now.. I'll jump on the next opportunity to be in India again.

All Nikon F601 (N6001).

In December 2004, I went to Kolkata (Calcutta) with a team to work with an NGO, Sanlaap. Sanlaap works to eliminate child prostitution and human trafficking. The photos here are partly a reflection on the work there, and partly an outsider's glimpse into Kolkata.
