Zenith 80

Another "new" camera... This looks to be a pretty good deal. Original case and manual with the original matching second film back, and the seller kindly threw in some film too... All seems to be in working order although I haven't finished the first film yet. The viewfinder is amazing - squinting through the 20D's is a little bit of a comedown after this beast.

    Pics here.

copy of kiev or hasselblad? or is it a kiev with a different name?

It's essentially a Kiev 88 with a different name for export, and therefore a copy of a Hasselblad.

aha, and? is it good? no problems?

Hmm .. well the image quality is certainly reasonable (see my Zenith 80 set), but one of the backs has a tendency to snag or, even worse, tear the film. And I think this then causes the shutter to drag, which can lead to uneven exposures.

I am debating whether to find a way to get it serviced or just move up to a used Hasselblad, or maybe a bronica.

Ahh, so good to know! thanks. Hasselblads are not so expensive nowadays. Mamiya maybe?
