AOL launches a new beta design today. Yahoo! wonders if imitation is actually the truest form of flattery...

As far as I know, Yahoo designs Yahoo. Regardless, the design, layout, and motifs belong to Yahoo, not any 3rd party designer they may or may not have hired.

Um, check out aol.in and compare to the narrow version of Y!'s home page (select under Page Options --> switch to narrow layout). Looks similar, and that's not a beta page either...?
