The July 29, 2012 Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John's in Plymouth, Michigan.
The Daimler DE 36 model was first shown to the public at the 1948 Earls Court motor show in London. The car on the stand was a drophead coupe with streamlined bodywork by the coachbuilder Hooper. It was painted in light green and soon came to be known as the "Green Goddess". The nickname has come to be applied to all of the DE 36 models, of which 205 were produced during an eight year production run from 1946 through 1953.
