Extolled and hallowed be the name of God
throughout the world which He has created
according to His will. And may He speedily
establish His kingdom of righteousness on
earth. Amen
Praised be His glorious name unto all
eternity.
Praised and glorified be the name of the
Holy One, though He be above all the praises
which we can utter. Our guide is He in life
and our redeemer through all eternity.
Our help cometh from Him, the creator of
heaven and earth.
The departed whom we now remember have
entered into the peace of life eternal. They
still live on earth in the acts of goodness
they performed and in the hearts of those who
cherish their memory. May the beauty of
their life abide among us as a loving
benediction. Amen
May the Father of peace send peace to all
who mourn and comfort all the bereaved among
us. Amen
Note: Although, it was only the English
translation I was able to recite, this
version of the Kaddish was provided to me by
my dear friend Julie Frank. This is the
version from our Union Praybooks we used as
children.
