Comte shot in Black & White

    My first play at taking pictures of food in Black & White. Luckily I
    have a Digital SLR with a black and white mode so I could shoot them
    mono on the fly instead of converting them as a post process from
    colour.

      I really really like this one. Im really new at the whole photography thing and I want to capture things like this but its almost like my lens wont let me get this close. What do you suggest a lens to invest in to catch shots like this? i have a basic 35mm
