thanks guys.
Oruhito, i'm surprised that you say Lang has a lot of open backs? i thought he cares quite a bit about having closed back models.
Oruhito 55 months ago | reply
oops! What I meant to say was that Lang does his fair share of making box pleated work look amazing. I must have been thinking of his moose when writing that he has open backs.
Still amazing work here Sipho. I like the direction your work is heading. Do show us more!

hello sipho it's wonderful i agree with jacky this is for me, too, the best origami mantis by the way it's 13gsm paper? did you buy it in new york central art supply??
MABONA ORIGAMI 54 months ago | reply
yeah, i bought it at ny central. i think it was 13gsm. but what i am sure about is, that a sheet of that paper costs 20 bucks! oh, and as stated, you have to dye it!

i have found a link on internet (you can pay via paypal) that sells kozo in 16gsm and also in 5gsm with a not high prize, they also have some kozo and gampi with strong fibers in 11, 12 and 5 gsm, you think if i use 16gsm paper the insets models will be foldable the same??
by the way here are the links:

thank you. it's hard to tell just from the weight because the paper can very much depending on the treatment. and the currency is english pound, so it's not so cheap. thank you never the less. i appreciate your help.
