"When We Were Young"

I had just found a seat when these two lovely ladies got on the train and I stood up to offer it to them. I'd much rather be on my feet and observe their beauty and energy up close...

In their eyes, in their way of talking to one another happily, and even in their eventual melancholic instants of silence, each one in her own head, like this one... I saw hundreds of stories of two interesting lives.

When I exited the train on my stop, I smiled and said bye. The woman on the left smiled back and said "Than you so much, young man". The comfort of strangers. It's beautiful to be human and humane.
