"When the Year Ended, a Cop Was in Our Dreams"

These days, specially after the frustrated attempt on the Detroit plane, the security forces have had to work extra hard with eyes opened to keep the city safe.

And when we think of those officers of the NYPD and other forces who instead of enjoying the parties and welcoming the new decade with their loved ones, had to be out and about in their uniforms, on the streets and subways, dealing with drunken people and all.... I couldn't help but thinking "Thank you, guys, for a good service".

"Starting the Year with (Street) Food"

Nothing to begin a year like stopping on a cold winter day in one of the many food stands in the streets of New York and grab a bite... in this case, some halal meat...

Somehow it's funny to see that woman with the seemingly elegant fur coat, standing there ready to eat a very saucy dish from a foam container.... :-P

Still with my series of the snow in New Year's Eve...

This is my first photo uploaded here of the first buch I've taken with my NEW iPhone 3Gs.... yes... I've upgraded finally, and I really hope to be putting that extra resolution of its camera to good use... as well as start putting together some iPhone video projects, including a possible short film shot only with the phone... Stay tunned!

So... taken with a 3Gs iPhone, using the (free!!) app of my good friend Glyn, Format126 (Neutral style, no frame).
