Arts & Crafts enamelware stock potBought at an antiques fair in Tucson from a woman who claimed to have bought it at an antiques fair in Paris. Note the Mackintosh-esque rose stencils. The inside is gray graniteware. This is now my favorite pot for making soup. No markings. Wish I knew exactly when and where it was made. I've never seen this pattern anywhere. I'd be grateful for any information about this piece.

Swiss chardThe last of the chard, harvested last night. Would've had more, but a wooly bear caterpillar ate nearly a whole plant! There's about one frittata's worth here, I guess.

An armload of basil
With our area due for its first frost of the season last night, I harvested the last of the basil plants for pesto. We had more than we thought! But after a whole bunch of fiddly work picking out the best leaves, we ended up with about a gallon bag full of suitable basil.
