You may have heard there's a little Nor'Easter traveling up the East coast right now. While it's not the first time I remember seeing snow in October in Virginia, this is definitely the most significant snowfall I can remember this early in the season. The snow on the vividly colored fall leaves has been quite beautiful, but it's also so heavy it's knocking down trees everywhere. It even managed to knock our power out for a few hours, but it's back on now - hopefully for good!

Lovely images! The colors, the pattern of snow on the leaves, and the shallow depth of field of the top one are especially pleasing. The broader view in the first photo in the comment space is wonderful (deserved it's own photostream space).
