Irreverential nativity - 1 of 12

Making and displaying nativity scenes is traditiional in France at Christmas. All these photos were taken in a village near Lyon whose inhabitants have made it a tradition to display as many as possible throughout the village: outside houses, in shop windows and in private houses' windows.
This year they were boasting 85 such nativity scenes. Thankfully, we didn't manage to find that many and here is only a very small sample ! but do look at them in detail: most are really worth it.
