For Father's Day.

I had seen Soulemama's pdf book preview for something similar to these, but I couldn't find the pdf anywhere so I had to make them up. I used linen, both front and back, a little pellon and interfacing in the middle, and I machine stitched first, then hand stitched for decoration. The artwork is all ESME (traced over a window). These are sure to melt hearts!

I put the quilt up on the boards yesterday. After watching me quilt for a while this afternoon, Esme asked, "Mama, can I sew too?" Yes, yes of course!

I pulled out some scraps of fabric, threaded a needle, showed her how to push the needle through the fabric, and there she sat for the next 45 minutes, pulling needle and thread.

My parents went out of town for three days and when they came home a mother bunny had burrowed into a hole they dug to plant a tree and filled it with 3 baby bunnies! These sweet little bunnies are just a few days old.
