@Wishingline: thankfully just a blessing, as the building across the alleyway blocks direct sun. And offers an interesting, unobstructed view of a dentist's office.

    :D

@'ju:femaiz: more artwork indeed! Although nailing into brick is something I haven't tried yet (luckily there was already one nail in there).

Wow, the office looks awesome Dan. For some reason you can tell a designer works here.

@dan: what about getting some picture rails installed at the junction with the roof so that you don't need to nail the brickwork? Just a thought :)

Surprised the small size of your book shelf though ;)

There's a little hanger device you can get to hang stuff on brick walls without needing to drill holes. Of course I can't recall what they're called but I'll post a link if I remember or find it.

@'ju:femaiz and @Wishingline: great idea on alternative means for hanging stuff on brick -- thanks!

May I ask where you purchased your "thing on the floor that makes rolling around easier and doesn't ruin the carpet" thing. I've gone through three of them over the last year and they keep breaking apart. I think it may have more to do with the height of my carpet, and the weight of my fat ass, but I was wondering if you were getting more mileage out of yours.

    Great office.

May I ask if the chair is from Ikea. I'm thinking of buying something like that.
