The oak leaves are yet to appear, but the beech (?) trees are green
now.
Which way would you go? Left? Right? Another way?

Great capture of a decision! I would take either path as long as I knew I could return home before dark :)

Yes, I've been in there in the dark. i start to wonder how friendly the sangliers (wild boar) would be if we met each other!

I'd go right; looks more intriguing. Where is this? Still brown around here (Maine). Like the simplicity of this photograph. Even though you have a lot going on and there is no central focus, it's basically just a shot of the woods. Something I normally would feel anyone could do, but this time, I think care was taken for this shot to create the right lighting. Well done.

Yes, a friend here just said right is more interesting. I agree - I like a path with a bend in it, and trees almost brushing against you.
This is the Forêt de Bouconne in Southern France near Toulouse.
I normally do just do photos that anyone could do, so I'm glad you liked this one!

Mmm...but the right path looks like the one you would be told not to take through the forest, if you lived in a folk tale.

... puts me in mind of The Two Travellers (retold by the brothers Grimm
www.4literature.net/Jacob_and_Wilhelm_Grimm/Two_Travelers/
)
They come to a fork in the forest track. One way, they know, is two days journey through the woods, the other seven days...
(I have heard the story told wonderfully by storyteller Hugh Lupton.)

This picture is a good example of someone who is concerned about the planet Earth.
It deserves to be seen on:
