Been looking at some of my Blackpool photos, spotted this one that I hadn't uploaded. Thought that it worked well with my latest uploads, especially the clouds over the piers.
Not your usual Red Arrows capture with blue skies, more moody and reminicent of the unpredictable weather here in England and especially Blackpool. Red arrows flying north between south and central piers, last summer.

As a kid, nothing was more exciting than the Red Arrows buzzing our house. Great composition and an excellent portrayal of the lovely Blackpool weather.

I like the lighting and texture of the smoke trails against the darker sky, it suits the cinematic framing well too!

Very nice photo - dramatic! I took a shot against a similar sky at Farnborough a few years back...
