Maybe the last from this short stretch of coast ... (pics per km is pretty high!)

One of the buildings of the abandoned tin mine at Trewavas Head in Cornwall. I say "abandoned", obviously not in operation, but cared for, the stonework repointed and appropriate bits of safety rails in place.

Not Lands End, but the Most Southerly Point ... so ... looking south ...

I'm not sure whether the wave of interest in meerkats has engulfed the rest of the world (yet), but Britain has pretty much succumbed to these creatures ...

This is along the Cornwall coast path from the tin mines, between Porthleven and Praa Sands. And I promise no editing of the shape - this is what it looks like! In the background are the beaches of Porthleven and behind them the wind turbines on the Lizard peninsula.

All watched over by a meerkat on guard duty.

Just round the corner from the tin mine buildngs in the previous shot. In fact, if you look closely you can see them, near the end of the peninsula. I'm afraid i don't know what these flowers are .. any help appreciated!
