:: The Invasion ::

Taken South of Baku, Azerbaijan. I was arrested by local police for taking the picture of these totally obsolete platforms... (I had to jumped over a fence to get close to the beach)

2 hours of questions on my schedule with a very soviet & cold war ambiance before being finally released... Policemen made me delete every shot of the platforms.

Back in Bahrain, I recovered every single shot thanks to Sandisk recovery software ;-)

My only regret is that I forgot to ask the email address of the policemen. I would have send them the pics few days later ;-) But then the next photographer shooting those platforms would have its memory card taken from him I guess, so it was not a good idea anyway...

Few minutes drive of Puta, near Baku. This area is totally apocalyptic. As I was taking this picture I exactly thought: "this is what a landscape would look like after a nuclear explosion..."
