BICYCLE STAND?

Bicycles can be found everywhere in Dutch cities. Some peolpe park them even on the bottom of the canals.
As this is next to the museum it can also be a work of art. :)

Ik heb ook een foto van deze boot klaarliggen, van 9 juni. Toen zater er wel minder fietsen in. Mooi zo, met het museum op de achtergrond, geeft een mooi contrast tussen afgedankt staal en welkom staal!

Het schijnt dat tegenwoordig veel minder fietsen worden gestolen omdat er teveel fietsen zijn. Het is nu meer een probleem van fietsen die niet meer opgehaald worden en dus overal maar blijven staan... of gedumpt worden.

Ik vind hem fantastisch. Fietsen in de gracht is wel typisch Nederlands, maar wat ik allemaal uit kanalen elders heb zien vissen mag ook enige naam hebben.

Mooie foto, mooi onderwerp, blijkt ook al uit de reacties.
Groningen is na een Chinese stad in verhouding de stad waar het meeste gefietst wordt. En mogelijk dus het meeste fietsen in het kanaal gedumpt? :-)
