Australia.com in Google Maps

Australia.com paid sand sculptors to write their name large in the sand on the coast near Sidney. (I increased the contrast to make the name a bit more visible, since in the actual pic it looks a bit overexposed.)

I also mentioned this in my blog article about some of my comments on rooftop ads, and the recent interview with me in a USAToday article.

(I know it doesn't really fit the group theme too well, but it's certainly a strange and interesting development where we actually make the landscape more like a map, including one sponsored by advertising...)
