As seen on Sapelo Island during the Georiga Coastal Birding Festival. The Pine Warbler is the only warbler that eats large quantities of seeds, primarily those of pines. This one was spotted near the old lighthouse on the island.

Isn't this a Yellow Warbler, rather than a Pine Warbler? You may know something I don't (not hard!) but I thought Pine Warblers always had white wing-bars. Also the yellow eye-ring appears to be complete - I would expect it to be broken on a Pine Warbler.

You could be right though I think it had white wing bars, you just can't see them from this angle. I'll do some more research on this one....
