    I was particularly inspired by this painting. The composition and the shape of the suggested landmass with its reflection is very beautiful, especially the way it is created through such raw brushstrokes of color.

    I ran with this, and created a painting of my own.. using this same shape, but removing it from the land and water and placing it in the fog of memory, with the more representational forms of a barn, silo and house in a vague Ohio landscape. I'll upload a photo of the painting soon.
