Pattern and repetition![]() ![]() Here is a newer method I've been working on where I'm using pattern and repetition to break up and layer my shape assets. The file sizes and renders are huge, and saving takes around eight minutes to complete. Maybe time for a new computer.
I've never been trying to create an 'effect', but moreso about building a complicated structure using basic shapes and color. The amount of shapes in each of my pieces really only shows in the final poster, so I wanted to post a few super close-ups to show what is going on and how the shapes react to one another. Nice piece, although I have the feeling I´ve seen it before..
Repetition using base-shapes could save you some time, and vector would be helpful to reduce the file size.
This piece is probably one of the better ones.
