This is a view of 97-mile distant San Jacinto Peak (the far mountain poking above the top right of the darker, 45-mile distant Santa Ana mountain range) viewed from the top of Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Palos Verdes Peninsula is at the southwest corner of Los Angeles, California. San Jacinto Peak is 97 miles away, and at 10,834 ft, is the 6th most prominent peak in the United States.
Haze is a perennial issue in photographing things 97 miles away, so here used Kolor's Neutralhazer plugin to make the San Jacinto range more visible. The left is "before" and the right "after", using Neutralhazer.
