I'd been in Taiwan for work, and flew via Hong Kong, where I stopped for a few days on the way back. Randomly, I arrived on the 4th of June - 20 years after the violent, bloody end of the Tiananmen Square protests.

Hong Kong remembered; over 150,000 people took part in a candelight vigil in Victoria Park. My friend Tim and I couldn't get into the park - way too busy - but waited at the exit, and at 10pm, watched as a huge volume of people surged through the streets.
