    Hydrangea is a genus of about 70-75 species of flowering plants native to southern and eastern Asia (from Japan to China, the Himalaya and Indonesia) and North and South America.

      My neighbors on both sides of me both have huge, water-loving hydrangias. All summer long -- lovely.

      They're such sturdy plants too. Can last a century, you can just about kill them to a stump and they'll come back. We have one the same colour in our backyard.
