Coral Springs, FL - September 2008 |
I was in Coral Springs for the better
part of a week for some company
"leadership" training. During
each of the breaks, I'd go outside and
try to take pictures of the anoles that
were everywhere. The little buggers are
flighty and FAST. Without a proper zoom,
you have to sneak up on them and move
sooo slowly they think you're part of
the landscape. As you can see, I wasn't
terribly successful. (And these are the
best of HUNDREDS of pictures...)
The last day of training let out a bit
early, so I went for a walk on an unused
road between a canal and a flooded rock
quarry. Except for the 45 minutes where
I was ASSAULTED by deer flies, it was
pretty good...
In addition to chasing the critters, I
spent a few evenings at the local
brewpub, Big Bear Brewing Company.
Arranged in the order they were taken
(oldest first).
