Heterotheca subaxillaris, Camphorweed, Coral Springs, FL![]() My concern with this identification is twofold:
(1) The length of the petals relative to the overall size of the flower seem too small for Heterotheca subaxillaris (2) The buds are smoother in my pix. The ones on-line seem to have "scales". Also, the leaves (not shown in this picture) are a pretty close match to those shown on this page, but not on some other web pix claiming to be Heterotheca subaxillaris Commentsjendayee
