Space Needle

Space Needle

A minimalistic shot of the Space Needle from downtown Seattle. Not my usual style but I enjoy trying new things.

On the Road To Paradise

On the Road To Paradise

On the way into Mt. Rainier we passed through the small town of Elbe for a bite to eat. Nearby the restaurant sat this small edifice, The Elbe Lutheran Church. This church was listed on Ripley's Believe it or Not as the world's smallest functional church. This church is often described as being "on the road to paradise" since it is on the highway that travelers use to access Paradise, a developed area in Mt. Rainier National Park.

Needle in a Haystack

Needle in a Haystack

If you have been following this blog for a while, you may have noticed that I like to shoot wide. My go to lens is almost always the 14-24mm giving me a very open view of everything, much like I see the world. This shot was taken with my 18-300mm zoomed in a lot. I am still experimenting this lens and learning how to create interesting angles from far away. This shot was taken from Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, a great place to watch the sun set behind the city.
