Thanks. Sour cherries evidently have a shelf life of 2 days (must be frozen, dried, or canned), so I suspect they need to quickly harvest them.

This thing grabs the base of the tree, shakes it hard, and the cherries fall off into the hopper.

And yes, Shruggd is from the book.
