Thanks Hoddel. This is not me, but a stranger. She was
moving away from all the morning walkers
(there were probably 5 in the park) to be on
her own. On my way back from to my car I saw
her and captured her contemplations.

I wonder what she was thinking. When I look
at this, I feel sad, but the scenery is so
beautiful, it also makes me calm. Lovely
composition, the trees coming in from the
side sort of reach out to the figure. The red
really pops. It tells so much, Well done!

It was very cold kktp_ ... enough that I had to keep putting my
gloves on between shoots. The sun had not
had enough time to even try to warm things up
when I took this mage.
LazyPhotographer ... I wondered too. She seemed so sad,
walking with head down, shoulders down, and
not meeting anyone's gaze. While the
resulting image does look calm, she had all
the body language of being sad. I think that
her posture here is one of 'cold' rather than
assurance, but it sure could be interpreted
either way. Thanks for your comments on the
composition - I really played with it, having
problems deciding on a final version - but
this was it.

Thanks for all your comments in my stream zelnunes - could you image her in a white jacket?
(Actually, white was the real colour of the
jacket, but it was too non-descript and
bland, so I PS it red).

marc50 ... it would be a great spot for a picnic.
The right of the photo is an entry into a
group of sailboard marinas, so the view would
be filled with sails. To the left you can
see the city scape of downtown Toronto.
