- This car was produced with two derby blocks. The "fenders" over the wheels were cut from one block and then glued to each side of a second block; the wheel areas were cut out with a hole drill. The width meets pinewood derby regulations.
- The ice cream area of this car was sanded out with a Dremel tool. Lots of wood was removed from the bottom of the car to make it fall within regulation weight.
- The holes were laid out using a ruler and square. A small drill bit was used to produce the holes.
