Lives

Must have been magnificent.
Lives by shiningarden.
I see houses
Rows and rows
Of red bricks...

Try to imagine the stories these walls and building would tell if they could speak, the lives of so many people... there's decay, but there are also the stories of lives.

Nice shot.
When I see buildings such as this I try to imagine who might have placed these bricks. Who put in the once beautiful "faux" columns that I can see remnants of.
I'll bet this was a beautiful place at one time.
Any idea what it was?

This is the front façade of a Romanic church, and it is all that's left after it crashed down because of a landslides. It is a very beautiful place, full of history, and it's on a hill and from there you can see the Mediterranean sea.
Thanks a lot for you comment, Calvin!

This is far more interesting than the thumbnail led on. Love the worn walls.

really good my friend!! I love all the textures here and the tones you added... increasing that old feeling. Must be a gorgeous thing to see, one of those you look at when passing by and have to stop to look twice :P only a special look like yours would have taken a photo. I'm glad you were there ^^
HUGS!
