oh, is this that sunrise clock radio? i remember you mentioned it and i always wondered if it was worth it to invest in one! of course even if it's just a regular clock, the picture is cool :)

it is a sunrise clock -- it lights up slowly for an hour (I think?) ending at the time you set the alarm with full light. You can set it to have no noise, just one little beep or a normal continual beep alarm. We started with noise and now have it without. It has HUGELY helped my desire to hibernate in the winter. Works best if you can really black out your bedroom, so you trick your brain into thinking the night is the length you want it to be. :)

we have raved about it to several people who have gone on to get one and have only heard positive reports back. :) and i promise i am not on commission! ;-)
