A WARM WINTERS DUSK

A WARM WINTERS DUSK by SnapSi.
Winters can get pretty cold in Tokyo (minus 5). Not this night though... ahhh the irregularities of LIFE are warming my soul again.

The hue is a little overwhelming for me. It drowns out the detail.

I actually like what the hue does to the mood. Great perspective as well. Vote Save.

Yes i did adjust the hue and saturation but the sky and overall picture was already a pinky orange, anyway. Just like the persective through to the horizon and the feeling that it gives me :)

I could colour correct it in PS at a later date but I don't have the time right now.

Thanks WenDee and Edna1

I like it, I don't care too much for the colours and it seems off centre to me (though that could be one of them optical allarluzions).

It's good, but no cigar from me... Too shopped and off-centre.

Oh, I dunno what to say about this...except that I love Tokyo and I love pictures of Tokyo, but the whole rose-colored-lenses view is a bit too clean and safe and comparable to a credit card ad. The composition has a nice vanishing-point sensation, but when the eye moves upward, there's that righthand tower bumping up too close to the edge of the shot.

Pretty, but not a save....

I like this. I like the hue and the little bit of blue in the background. It's everso slightly cheesy too, which isn't always a good thing, but the off-centredness pulls it back from the brink. A very close one, but..

Well, I keep coming back... the pinkness is good - and it does what it says on the tin, which isn't a reason to save as such, but I do like the way it matches its title. Hmm.

The green edge tinges are really rather nasty - like a bad early eighties pop video.

Hey mym the 80's rocked & that's a good enough reason to save it in itself but anyways... Thanx to all who commented and I learn't a lot as I always do from the DMU.

I'll now take a rest and a long hard look at myself and my photography... See you when I get back from exile on main street.
