Love is in the air -- Happy Valentine's Day

I saw this hanging from a tree on a walk in my old neighbourhood. Someone had left a lovely message for us all to enjoy.

Maman in HDR

Maman is a giant spider (30 feet high by 33 feet wide) outside the National Gallery of Canada -- one of six cast in bronze from the original. Inspired by the artist's own mother, a tapestry restorer, "Maman", the giant egg-carrying spider, is a nurturing and protective symbol of fertility and motherhood, shelter and the home.
